2011 Recap: We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for our first ANNUAL Queen of the Hill Sprint Triathlon.

Organizing this triathlon was a labor of love and there are many people to thank!  Michelle Powell started the wheels turning in March and was the main reason this triathlon was a success.  Thank you Michelle for the copious amount of hours and sheer dedication.  You made Queen of the Hill a success. 

We had 185 women cross the finish line.  Half were from our club, the other half were from all over the state. There were also many women who traveled from PA and New York.  We hope you enjoyed the beauty of our small town. The gentle rolling hills, the horses, the farms and of course the private lake we were so lucky to be able to swim in.

This was the first triathlon for many. Congrats to all the newbies who crossed  that finish line for the very time.  Special mention to our first ever QUEEN: Colleen Neely from Maple Shade, NJ and her Court: Emily Furia from Conshohocken, PA and Maya Hunnewell from Medford NJ.

We had quite a few club members who had medals placed around their neck.  Congrats to the following MHWTC for rocking Queen of the Hill.

Rebecca Bittner, Jayne Gandy, Jennifer McCarthy, Kat Garrity, Andie Bramblett. Val Murphy, Leigh Ann Redington, Kathleen O' Donnell, Lori Zeiders, Rosie Conway, Mary Cay Trace, Barb Kappler, Kristin Visalli and Team " THE PINK LADIES"  Well job ladies.. well done!
